Aye Tom,

Thank you for your informative reply.

Leonard over here in the UK had his entire ignition system examined, re-wired and the polarity changed by a man, Tony Tambs, "Scootronics", which was successful in enabling the ignition to advance at ~1,250 rpm and for the engine to be able to perform through the gears, rather than just idling as it did before, with no ignition advance. However, Tony also supplied and fitted a new trigger coil, low tension coil to my ignition system, with no resulting ignition advance. I then returned the entire system to him and asked him to carry out the wiring changes that he had made to Leonard's ignition and that advanced. Having re-fitted the components, checking air gaps, alignment of the trigger coil contacts, to the trigger prongs inside the flywheel, along with trying my original CDI transducer and a new "Blue" model that is supposed to work, I still have an ignition circuit that will not advance the ignition!

If you wish to read the whole sorry saga it can be found at the MRC link below. I will update this thread, if I make further progress!

This is the link to the whole sorry saga on the MRC forum:
125H_with_no_spark!

I have not abandoned the conundrum.

Good health, Bill

Hi Adrian,
Ive got a spare, good magnetism. It will cost a fair bit to post from the UK however. Send me an email -moriniboy23@yahoo.co.uk as I am an infrequent visitor on here
