AGT No 77

Post by Stempy »

I had a spare hour this afternoon and I thought I would start putting away my AGT magazines in the recently purchased binders, Long have been put in each magazine in the binders. I’ve always been having a flick through to remind you of some of the comments and technical advice. To my amazement looking through number 77 I thought I recognise that registration and there is my 500 the previous owner had taken it to the IOM :D

You mean the Valentini bike David? At least I think that's what it is. You must have been made of stern stuff to ride that down to Italy!

Great to see Chris Webber and Pete Fisher discussing the bike.

So, the pictures were taken at The Highlander on Mad Sunday 1982..

When did ATG 77 come out?

Hi David.

Yes, it is a massive coincidence to see both bikes on the same page in ATG.

You went two-up to the Isle of Man on that bike?

Your girlfriend must have been keen on you before you set off. Hope you didn't have a frosty time of it at the T.T.
