The red ignition light has been disconected on my dash, and I want to wire it back up. Could someone tell me where the wires come from? Does the red light go off when the bike starts, the same as other bikes I have had which indicate that the battery is being charged.
I look forward to your replies.
Ignition on - Red Light
Re: Ignition on - Red Light
OK, after a bit more research, it would appear that the red light remains on while the ignition is switched on. Has anyone wired this to go off when the battery is charging, if so do they have a wiring diagram?

Hi,
Regarding the red light, if you have an earlier bike, the most useful thing to do is to convert it to an indicator repeater light instead.
