Morini 500 SEI-V For Sale

Post by Jack »

This particular motor cycle, was first registered in England on the 16tth of September, 1997.
The bike was 15 years old when it was imported, (from Italy I think), but appears to have been very well maintained.
The bike has had 9 previous keepers in England, including me; its’ history prior to 1997 is unknown to me.
I bought it from a chap who informed me that he had got it from a collection of bikes that was being sold, where it had been a static display for a number of years.
In the last 8 years from July 2018, to now, it has only travelled 603 kilometres, or 375 miles. And I’ve done most of those! In fact according to the available MoT certificates/on-line records, since 2013 the bike has travelled 4,347 kilometres, or, in proper money, 2701 miles, in twelve years.
In total it has recorded 37, 060 miles.
Completely recommissioned.

The machine has adjustable Tarozzi billet “clip ons”, and adjustable footrests.
It rides very well, pulls well and corners like an FS1E on steroids!
It is a genuine pleasure to ride, it rides as it should, and easily keeps up with modern traffic, and the brakes are very effective.
To keep it in good fettle it must be ridden. It needs to be regularly exercised.

It would be an excellent A2 licence classic bike!

It’s sold as seen, and no warranty is given or implied.

I want £5,400 for it. It owes me more than that!
I have put quite a bit of work into it, and it is a genuinely nice bike. It’ll get you there, and it’ll get you back!
Sadly, the bike’s lovely, it’s me who needs the work now. I had a lovely 50 miler on it last week!

My ‘phone number is 07585 230726.

I have loads of pictures and descriptions of the work carried out when it was recommissioned etc. If anyone wants them just call me.
It’s a lovely bike. I’m heartbroken to be honest.

Regards
Jack
