Owners' manual/wiring diagram for 1986 X2 Kanguro

Post by ericwwreckless »

Hello all, I'm currently struggling with the electrics (no indicators, no tail light and no horn) on my 'new' Kanguro - does anyone have a PDF of the manual and or wiring diagram?

In other news, I've just been out for my first ride on it, very impressed!

The items you mention as not working are the ones which use 6V DC. (The headlight is 12v AC) so the first thing to check is do you actually have 6v in the battery.

My kanguro currently is running total loss as the regulator isn’t charging so whilst the headlight works fine, everything else only works for as long as there is voltage in the battery!

Great photo Eric. 8)

All I can offer you is the attached wiring diagram but it is for the X1 so I'm not sure how useful it will be.

Also there is this link...

https://www.scribd.com/document/7868862 ... Kanguro-x2

It appears to be a Kanguro X2 parts book but to download it you have to sign up to something or other so it's up to you if you want to do that.

All the best.
Jenny.

Thanks both.
I've managed to find a wiring diagram for the X2 so hope to have it sorted soon.
