Four members and two Morinis today! Good cafe. A guy turned up on an Energica, not with us. Looked lovely, only problem is the range is 120 miles! Then, fill 20kWh battery somewhere. Repeat.

My Strada has run 285kms (175 miles) on a tank today and still not on reserve. Just needs five minutes to recharge the chemical energy supply.

That is a shame. Last one of the year is in September as August meeting is on Mona's Isle. Unless the weather holds into October.

Tomorrow. 30th July. Be there or miss coffee and cake. Old School Cafe, St Abbs. Another ride around the Borders. Great roads, great scenery. Remove your chicken strips.

Great ride, lovely scenery, sunshine, blue sea, no tsunami, three Italian v-twins. Thanks Alan and David.

Cullen skink and raspberry cake were top notch.

It is. The Berwickshire coast is amazing, but please don't visit, just keep going to the Highlands like all the others... :)

Next meeting

Tuesday 30th September 12 O'clock.

Aroma Cafe, Biggar. Convenient for Glasgow, Edinburgh, Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway, Borders

and the Isle of Arran, Aileen!

More great roads, the road following the Tweed is magical. The Edinburgh bypas not so much.

I'll see if I can fit in a final meet up in October, too.

Looks a great venue and menu looks fantastic value. Wish I was nearer to you. Perhaps I’ll return to my Co. Durham roots one day.

I have never been, but I know people who have and it is well used.

Stay where you are, the roads are getting busy up here. I saw three cars the other day. Annoyed me.

Having said that, the Tees and Wear valleys are good biking roads as well as the North South roads, complete with hairpin bends. I think the A686 is the best road in England. Others may disagree!
