Five members. It is a great cafe.
Nice ride across. The trees are turning, a bit New England in autumn.
The road from Peebles to Biggar is wonderful; rising, falling, twisting sometimes all at once. The common denominator being the Tweed. One of the great Salmon rivers.
I came back via Edinburgh, the road is a new one to me, another corker. The Pentland Hills are beautiful. There was sunshine on Leith, too. Bass Rock looked like it had snow on it. Stunning views down the Northumberland coast to Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Cassels.
Nice to see I wasn't the furthest travelled. I didn't manage to walk 500 miles, but I did manage 230 miles, which was peanuts compared to our member from Cymru.
