Alternative paint schemes

Hi All,
my tank has been resprayed and in my ownership it has never had the familiar black/gold stripes that continue from the sidepanels. I'm a fan of the earlier designs, including the black-panel where the knees go, also the white background logos from that era with the stacked MM and gold wings.
I don't really love those original tank stripes but I do like/appreciate the "hand-paintedness" of the remaining ones.

I'm pretty open but looking for inspiration really, and would love to see any unusual designs you may have, please.

Hi Daddy Dom.

You may find some inspiration in the attached photos which appear to be of a 350 K2 with 500 side panels.

I quite like it apart from the eagles heads pointing backwards instead of forwards. It's a bit of a pet hate of mine

Thanks Jenny,
that's the sort of thing I'm after. I may do some mock-ups with washable paints for a larf.
Funnily enough, almost none of the schemes I've seen seem to have a red frame but I do and that makes a difference.

Leave the frame red, it'll be absolutely fine.
