Clutch lever fulcrum

Post by Daddy Dom »

Hi there,
I have a generic Domino clutch lever/perch fitted. I also have Tarozzi clip-on risers which means my cable routing is somewhat compromised by the instruments.
The action is "firm" but I'm used to it, however, I have just seen that two different fulcrum lengths are offered by Tomaselli, 26mm and 30mm.
If I can find something that gives a lighter feel, I will try that.

So, can you please measure your lever fulcrums for me? Centre-to-centre, between the bolt and the nipple.
Cheers,

Morini used both Tommaselli (Domino) and Verlicchi levers over the years
Plus both fulcrum lengths were used but the shorter will be lighterr to pull and give a more progressive feel
Getting the cable outer to inner lengths right and adjustment at the engine lever helps too
Plus regular lubrication

What is your lever fulcrum length at the moment?

Good luck

PS You can alter the engine operating lever a little from the standard setting to fine tune the clutch feel/progression/operation
but only if the cable has the correct inner length - which depends on your choice of bar lever it's cable adjuster etc
